Oak Ridge is fortunate to have a guardian monitoring our atmosphere – from fields to forests. NOAA – the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – has been in Oak Ridge since 1948. Their focus is to protect human and ecosystem health, and to support a vibrant economy. Using advanced atmospheric sciences and technologies, including drones and state-of-the-art instruments, NOAA’s Air Resources Laboratory is hard at work. Their work provides data on weather, air pollution measurement, and climate change. Join us this week to learn about their exciting research and development programs at the Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division from Dr. Latoya Myles, Acting Deputy Director.
The Oak Ridge Chamber is bridging the networking gap for our members with a convenient, safe, and virtual option. Whether you're working remotely, live or work outside the city limits, have a tight schedule, prefer the comfort of your own office, or are simply on the go, The Bridge helps you effortlessly stay connected.
