Stephanie is the Owner/Agent of the Stephanie Hale-Smith State Farm Agency in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She began her State Farm career in 2015 after a 30-year career in the electric utility industry. She is dual licensed in both Tennessee and Georgia to sell all of State Farm’s Property & Casualty, Life & Health, Commercial Insurance. She is also a Mortgage Loane Originator and has her Series 6 and 63 License. She and her husband Tony of nearly 35 years have an amazing son Tony and a beautiful daughter-in-law Ashiah.

Known as the ‘Total Package’ Engaged Agent, Stephanie is engaged in ‘All Things Community’ and has a passion for helping customers understand how positive Risk Management, Credit Ratings, and Income Replacement strategies contribute to generational wealth.

Stephanie shares her talent and experience as an Executive Board Member and helps support the Chamber Membership efforts.

Scott Anderson is the Waste Operations and Logistics Manager for UCOR. Scott has over 37 years of experience in the operation, decommissioning, and demolition of nuclear facilities, and in addressing the challenges of high hazard and radioactive waste management projects. Scott brings a wealth of senior executive leadership and customer partnering experience on DOE cleanup and closure projects across the DOE complex.

Ivan Boatner is the lab’s interim general counsel. He has over 25 years of legal experience in the Department of Energy and government contracting sector. His goal is to provide prompt, proactive, and practical advice to ensure UT-Battelle can effectively achieve its business objectives while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and contracts.

Dr. Bruce Borchers started his education career as an elementary physical education teacher in the Sioux City, Iowa, Community School District. He also has worked as an interim assistant principal and guidance counselor in Iowa City, Iowa, as assistant principal and principal in Mankato, Minnesota, and as associate superintendent of secondary schools for the Anoka-Hennepin, Minnesota, School District. Prior to joining the Oak Ridge Schools, Dr. Borchers was the Superintendent of the Rockwood School District from 2010 to 2013.

Dr. Borchers earned a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, and master’s degrees from Wayne State College and the University of South Dakota.

David Bradshaw is the Oak Ridge Area Manager for Pinnacle Financial Partners and Chairman of the Three Roots Capital Board of Directors. Whether through his work at Pinnacle or Three Roots, Bradshaw is passionate about bringing access to capital for rural entrepreneurs and small businesses in Oak Ridge and the greater East Tennessee region.

Donald J. Dooley Jr.  “Chip” is President and Owner of Life Safety Inspections, LLC.  He started “LSI” Dec 12, 2008 and quickly established his business as a premier leader in the Fire Extinguisher Business.  LSI is the only suppression company that provides a detailed report on locations, dates, services for each customer. 

LSI is the only company in East Tennessee licensed and trained to install and service Vehicle Suppression Systems from Amerex, and will only sell American made products.

Life Safety Inspections sales, service and inspects Kitchen Hood Suppression System, Paint Booth Suppression System, Vehicle Suppression (Dozers, Tractors, Busses, to name a few).

Andy Page is president and chief executive officer of ORAU. He provides comprehensive oversight, strategic direction, and leadership for ORAU and its diverse set of missions involving science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) workforce development, scientific assessment, worker health, and environmental management.

We are a construction company based in Oak Ridge.  We primarily do Commercial construction but have done Residential also.  I have a in house crew of 5 in the field and there are 3 of us in the office.  We are a certified Minority Business as a Woman Owned Construction Company.

Dr. Whaley began his college education at Roane State. He earned Roane State’s highest student award, continued his education at Middle Tennessee State University and earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee.

After three years in private practice as an attorney, Dr. Whaley returned to the college in 1997 as program director of the A.A.S. Paralegal Studies program, a position he held until 2010. Since then he has served in positions of successively greater administrative responsibility at the college. He was named dean of social science, business and education in 2002, and in 2010 was promoted to vice president of student learning/chief academic officer. Dr. Whaley became Roane State’s fifth president on November 1, 2012.

Jim Wood joined Y-12 FCU in 2020 as the Chief Lending Officer, bringing over 30 years of CU leadership to their team. Jim has worked in the Tampa, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and Chicago markets but is excited to return to his East Tennessee roots as he was a graduate of Milligan College out of Johnson City, TN. He is an avid golfer and fan of about any sport. He has relocated to Oak Ridge and is “all in” on the East Tennessee experience…having already completed the bucket list for hiking, zip lining, white-water rafting, and kayaking in his first month. Jim explained he’s glad to be back in the Smokies and is looking forward to serving the Y-12 membership and the communities they serve.
